Trauma

 How do people resolve trauma?

It is very difficult to resolve it completely. PTSD is real.

Imagine we had a very traumatic incident. There are some people involved- directly or indirectly or both. How do you resolve this? There are million triggers.

Let me give an example. My friend went thru an abortion. She didnt want the baby. Nothing wrong. Right? But her partner wasnt there during the procedure. There was a communication gap. Different perspectives of the same incident.

Now- there is baggage she carries. He doesnt realize there was trauma.

What makes me feel very strange is that: how can someone not think this experience is traumatic unless there was a limitation or emergency? Is that limitation recognizable? Doesnt it warrant a very sincere and a heartfelt apology? At the very least? And multiple times at that? Because the trauma is that deep. And that it needs that much of reassurance.

Yea- forgetting is hard. Forgiving is harder. Point is the body has memory. It seldom forgets.
