Shiva and Ganesha are probably as real as the concept of gods can get for me.
Especially the dad. :-) He is as human as he can be and yet...
I love the literature, poetry and the scripts that are around these two icons.
I would have generally done my puja and ate my Kozhkattai in peace. Just that the loud music and dances to item numbers on the juniors birthday is not something that I can feel at peace about. Seriously. I wonder if he appreciates all this???
I know all we need is a reason to celebrate. But to chikni chameli?? For Ganesha? Or in the name of Ganesha???
